When Missy's puppies were about 4 weeks old and when Rosie's puppies were about 5 weeks old, we put them all together to see how they would do... they did just fine so rom that day on, we just left them together so we could bring take them into a large 'play area' in the garage.  Directly below are photos of Cedar's (single puppy), Rosie's 8 puppies and Missy's 10 puppies!

Missy has her babies!  10 puppies and she is the proudest mama!  Missy is always so proud of her kids.  Born May 24th (during the day... so nice for me!! not having to stay up all night)  3 Boys and 7 Girls.

Cedar (Missy's half-sister) decided to have her puppies, the same day.  Well, Cedar only had one puppy.  A Huge male.  This type of litter is called a "Singleton" litter, and it is the first time we have ever had this happen in close to 30 years of breeding poodles.

I have heard of this and after reading up on it, I decided it would be best to give this Big Boy some friends.  :)  Missy never knew...  I took 4 of Missy's (female) puppies and put them in with this Big Boy and Cedar started loving them immediately.  Whew!!  I wasn't sure how that would work out, but now the Big Brother has siblings to grow up with, which is so important.  Just click on "Cedar" on our menu, and follow along and see how this Big Male puppy does, as he grows to 8 weeks old.  I'm anxious to see if he maintains his size.

Below are the 3 male puppies and 3 female puppies (Missy puppies)  The other 4 'Missy' female puppy photos can be seen on the "Cedar" tab.  I hope this all makes sense - if not let me know and I'll try to explain better. sandra_spitzer@yahoo.com

You will notice the different colors of the puppies - all I can figure is it's the lighting.  All of the puppies are shades of 'red', not brown, not tan.  I even went out and bought the latest and greatest new iphone... same issue!

Below, 9 days old.  Time is sure going by fast and it won't be long, and these guys & gals will be ready to go to their new homes.

I decided to put all of Missy's puppies (and Cedar's male puppy) all together in one area.   I wasn't sure if Cedar & Missy would agree to that, but they had no problem and they seem to be enjoying each other's company.  Yes, both mothers will go in and nurse all of the puppies!  The puppies had no problem either... once the milk goes dry on one mama, they race to the other mama!  Hahahaha!!  All future photos will be under 'Missy', even Cedar's male puppy.

Below 2 weeks old and 20 days old Everyone is growing nicely!

MISSY, oh, my, my!  Missy is a nice dark red girl that came from a litter of Very Big puppies!  Missy has wonderful puppies and they are some of the darkest red (burgundy-red) puppies we've ever seen.  Then to, top-it-off, and they were BIG(!) Boys & Girls   :)

This girl has the 'happiest tail', she is always delighted to see us and loves all the attention she can get.  She loves to have her tummy rubs and loves special time sitting on the couch with us, while watching the evening news.  Missy is a Beautiful Girl with inky black points and we noticed that she tends to pass these incredible genes on to her puppies.

At 2 yrs old, Missy stands 28" tall, and weighing 85 lbs.  Again, these large sized girls are hard to find.

Missy is one of our puppies, we kept for our breeding program. â€‹

Missy is a nice dark red girl and has beautiful black points, everything you look for in a poodle - she has.  (actually all of our poodles have these traits!)  We are hoping these traits will be passed along to her puppies.

Missy is a Nilsa / Pistol Pete puppy-girl.  I always tell her that she "is such a pretty girl"... and oh, does that tail start wagging!  She is a 'lover girl' and will walk right over the other poodles, sitting on the couch with us, just to get some lovin!  Missy is the type of dog that will look you right in the eyes, as if she is wanting to say something.  She loves to run with the other poodles, in the yard, searching for a rabbit to chase after.   Missy is a very affectionate girl - we just love her!

DNA TESTING for MISSY, with clear / normal results that are relevant to the poodle breed.  This girl was also 'cleared' from many other tests genetic through Embark.
